Description

This seminar delves into the fascinating concept of leptogenesis and its ability to address two key mysteries of the universe: the origin of tiny neutrino masses and the observed matter-antimatter asymmetry. We will provide an overview of the type-I seesaw mechanism and discuss various scenarios of leptogenesis, ranging from the low GeV to the high 10^12 GeV scale. Furthermore, we will explore how experimental probes can shed light on these scenarios, allowing us to better understand the fundamental nature of the universe.
