On the Hunt for New Particles at the Large Hadron Collider: On the Hunt for New Particles at the Large Hadron Collider

  • Flavia Dias (Nikhef/ATLAS)

Description

The Large Hadron Collider's (LHC) experiments are continuously pushing the boundaries of particle physics. One of its aims is to uncover the mysteries of the universe beyond our current understanding of particles and their interactions: the Standard Model. This seminar will provide an overview on how we search for new particles at the LHC, and highlight some of the latest results obtained during the LHC's Runs 2 and 3. Furthermore, I will outline the plans and prospects for searching for new particles in the next years.
