or at the University of Sussex\, which he joined in 2007 on a national STF
C research fellowship. Prior to Sussex\, he worked at the Rutherford Apple
ton Laboratory (2005–2007) and obtained his DPhil from the University of
Oxford.\n\n\n\n\n\n\nHe is co-spokesperson of the CLOUD neutrino experime
nt\, which is constructing a 10-ton novel opaque scintillator detector 35
metres from the nuclear reactor at Chooz\, France. He has been a key membe
r of the NOvA neutrino experiment at Fermilab for over a decade\, serving
as physics analysis co-coordinator\, leading the muon (anti)neutrino disap
pearance analysis group\, and acting as Chair of the NOvA Institutional Bo
ard.\nHe was awarded the IoP HEPP Group Prize in 2013 and elected Fellow o
