Description
Abstract: In the Standard Model, the lepton numbers of Higgs boson decays are conserved. But there are many Beyond Standard Model theories which predict or favor lepton number violation. The search of Higgs LFV decays has been carried out at ATLAS. The analysis process and results are presented. Speakers background: Dr. Zhidong joined in QMUL from October 2021 and is working in the Zero Mass Detector project. He got my PhD degree at the Chinese University of Hong Kong. As a PhD candidate, he has worked in the ATLAS experiment, focusing on Lepton Flavor Violation analysis. He also did some work on the ATLAS muon detector upgrading (new small wheel). Before studying for PhD, he worked in industry for about 20 years, mainly as a software engineer and a system design engineer.
