Travel to London

Queen Mary is located in London, which is easily accessible by train or by air from most places in the UK and the world.

There is good public transport around the city, which runs frequently. Both CityMapper and TFL are good for transport information.

Accommodation

There are many places to stay which are within easy walk or tube/bus ride of the university. Some are listed here but your standard booking website will probably be better at helping you figure out what the best deal is.

Workshop Dinner

There will be a workshop dinner at 6:30pm on Thursday evening, probably at our favourite local pub The Lord Tredegar

Extra information

This workshop is being held in the 3rd week of term, so there will likely be many fresh undergraduates who are still finding their way around!

Coffee breaks and lunches will be provided, but there are other options on campus and nearby if you desire extra/different food and caffeination.

There will be a couple of extra spaces available where you can take other meetings if need be.

Please contact Nicola or Yoshita if you have any further questions about practicalities!
